Course Description
Take your assessment skills to the next level by enrolling in this unique training program designed to equip healthcare professionals with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively conduct a Temos assessment process in accordance with the established policies and procedures, and to assess the implementation of the Temos International Healthcare Accreditation Standards in hospitals and clinics worldwide.
This training program will be a three-day online training with a focus on the Temos International Healthcare Accreditation Standards. Our expert instructors will guide you through the accreditation process, covering topics such as standards interpretation, scoring issues, assessment planning, roles and responsibilities of assessors, and report writing, among others. The course will cover theoretical and practical parts including lectures, self-assessment, exchange, group work, and others.
This training program is beneficial for experienced surveyors from other accreditation programs who want to get an international perspective and is suitable for “newcomers” that fulfill the prerequisites for participation and want to get a broader understanding of Temos HealthCare Accreditation Process and to learn from leading Temos accreditation experts. The participants will learn about the essential aspects that assessors need to know, understand, and implement before, during, and after the assessment process. The program will provide participants with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills to enable them to excel in their roles as healthcare accreditation assessors.

Course methodology
The training course will engage participants with adult learning methodologies and an interactive training delivery style. The program fosters a hands-on approach where participants can effectively build and apply both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Through interactive sessions and group exercises specifically tailored to the responsibilities of assessors and surveyors, participants will have the opportunity to actively participate and enhance their abilities.

Part 2. Participant Evaluation By Written Exam
All candidates that pass the written exam and competency assessment will be eligible to attend an onsite assessment as observer and training on the jobs.
Part 3. Practicum Training
This part of training for all candidates completes the theoretical training Part 1 & the Written Exam with the respective passing score (Part 2). The candidates will participate in one or more onsite visits as observer/training on the job together with Temos senior assessors. Details will be discussed with the candidates individually.
Verified Certificate
Upon successfully completing the “Initial Training for Assessors” and passing the final exam, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. These certificates can be verified through the dedicated verification feature available on the Temos Academy website. With the verified certificate, participants have the option to securely share their achievement with others using a unique link provided by Temos Academy.
Please be informed that completion of Temos Academy “Initial Training for Assessors” program does not qualify an individual to work as Temos Assessor nor does it qualify an individual to work as a surveyor/assessor with any other external evaluation organization. Individuals interested in becoming Temos assessors or surveyors in other external organizations, should contact the respective accreditation body directly to learn about the requirements to become a surveyor with their program.
Target Audience and Requirements
The program is designed to provide a comprehensive training experience that is tailored to meet the needs of healthcare professionals at all levels, from those who are just starting their careers to those who have already gained some experience in the field. Participants should have a good understanding of healthcare systems and processes. Social and communication skills are further requirements for a successful participation.
Program participants are expected to have a stable internet connection to participate in the online sessions and to ensure that participants can access the online session materials, communicate with the facilitator and other participants, and engage in real-time activities without interruption.
Language of instruction is English (training materials, lectures, discussions, and assessments in the program will be conducted in the English language). Participants are required to have a proficient understanding of the English language to effectively engage in the program and successfully complete it. Participants who are not proficient in English may not be able to benefit fully from the training.
